Grass-fed beef offers a savory, “beefier” taste and is tender and juicy when prepared properly. Don’t use the microwave to thaw your meat, rather, take your cuts out of the freezer and move to the refrigerator a few days prior to cooking to increase tenderness. The fat in grass-fed beef tends to cook at a lower temperature, therefore, it cooks faster. A good digital meat thermometer will go a long way in saving your meat from being overcooked. Such an amazing farm. Shawn and his wife are such great, knowledge people and take such pride in what they do. The farm is always spotless, animals are always doing what they are supposed to be doing and the beef and pork are just beautiful. I couldn’t more highly recommend a place to get meat. ~Ashley
